SCS Vape on 300 Tiney Browning Blvd, Suite D

Only "premium" Vape flavors "that are offered at multiple retailers across the county" which translates somehow to almost 40 bucks for a 60 ml bottle. Ridiculous and untrue taking advantage of limited Vape shop availability. I went back home and got my "premium" vape juice 60 ml bottle for 25 dollars. Pin-up, space jam etc. How can a "chain" of Vape shops sell for increased prices when a successful shop that's out of someone's home is far cheaper? Also the lady seemed to be annoyed I was in there, and cared nothing at all about trying to make money or gain a returning and recommending customer.

I've been here twice. The first time I walked in knowing what I wanted to buy so I can't comment on anything besides the price, but the price was what I was expecting (I didn't know what it was supposed to cost back then). Flash forward a year, I'm smoking cigarettes again and decide to try to quit again using vapor and tapering off. So my wife and I go into SCS. The place was empty. No employees no customers no music no anything, totally dead. I say out loud "Are they open?", Which prompts a gentleman to appear from the back. He doesn't say anything. He just walks behind the counter and looks at us. Whatever. So I tell him "I don't really know a lot about these things, but I do know that we need tanks and juice". He was obviously instantly annoyed with our being there. He points to some items in the glass and says "that's what we have". There were three different types to choose from. So I asked what the differences were and if he had a recommendation. He said "they're the same; these are seven dollars and these are ten". I ask him if they take certain coils or what they needed and how often they needed to be replaced. He was more annoyed. At this point I realize that maybe I should either go online or go to Victoria if I wanted to learn anything but ultimately decide that I don't want to drive that far away; I'll google it later. So I tell him I want two $7 tanks and some strong e juice. He asked me what number. I say "Number...? Number what?" "The nicotine", he says. I had never known there were strength options (lol noob, I know). My wife comes to my rescue and explains. Ok so now I know what the number represents, so I ask the salesman what number was normal or average, and I wanted one step up from that. He says, "12, 14, 16, 18....20.....up to 24". My wife, again, rescued me. She tells me what she has had in the past and recommended the 18. At this point my wife and I are smiling at each other because we can say a lot with a look, we both felt like we were somewhere we didn't belong and we were talking about something we know nothing about in front of someone who just wanted us to hurry up and leave. I tell the guy that I'll take Space Jam in 18. He says what flavor. My wife chose. I check out. He days don't spill oil in the mouth piece when I fill it. That was the only actual information he provided us. I spent just under $30. Now we are home. I very carefully fill both tanks. So far so good. They fit our battery no problem. Still good. One works seemingly just fine. The other doesnt do anything. I got on google and decide to swap the coils between tanks to see what happens. Now the other tank works but the first one doesn't. Now I know it has a bad coil and decide to run back to the store to swap it. I grabbed the receipt and started to leave when I read that they don't take returns or exchanges under any circumstance. So now I need to buy another coil. I take them both apart and look at the coils and one is different from the other. I put the odd one aside and just use the one that works. I was going to go to the Victoria store the next day to get a new cool and hopefully some information about the products. Five or six puffs later, it's leaking and bubbling. I assume that I did something wrong since I have zero know how with these things. I show a friend who knows about them, he takes it apart and puts it together and says that he didn't know why it was leaking. But it still is. After all of that, I go to 7/11 and the clerk there helped me choose a Vine brand e cigarette with interchangeable pre filled tanks. I spent $20 there and have been off cigarettes for 4 days. I'm still on my first tank and probably won't buy a third (it came with 2). I would rather have spent $100 at 7/11 than to go back to SCS and deal with terrible customer service, overpriced juices, and defective tanks. And I'm really sad to have to say that because I always thought SCS Vape was supposed to be a cool place to go, chill, try new flavors, learn stuff, spend MONEYYY, and to have a good time.

OK i know how important reviews are, so therefore I put alot of thought into them and have never wrote one til now, I am really disappointed in the fact that this company doesn't choose to stand behind their product. I have spent so much money at this, only vape shop in the county, that it makes me sick. I am repeatedly replacing and spending more than necessary on (i get it) a habit i choose to have. I buy products and a week later disappointed. The staff is very friendly, but misinformed. One person says one thing and then a couple of days later another says something else. I am going to stick with my out of town people from now on and have it shipped to me. I am not trying to bash the good deeds of the people that work here, but to maybe open the eyes of the owners.
