I have been. Coming here forever . The coffee is superb , as are the pastries. The meals are good to wine available. All reasonably priced. Great ambiance for a coffee and biscuit after a film, as the River Oaks Theatre is next to it . Tables on sidewalk. Lunch with friends. The art works constantly changes and is available for purchase. Service is prompt and friendly. This a first choice.

This place, seriously HAS to be one of the best open secrets in H-town. The selection of fine coffees, teas, desserts (tons of well crafted European desserts) is worth the trip alone. The chef is well accomplished, and will tantalize your palate with his spéciale du jour entrée. Truly one the best and most reasonably priced places in river Oaks. Bon appetite!

I came for breakfast and ordered the scrambled eggs with spinach and feta cheese and I thought it was delicious. I also ordered a cappuccino. The cappuccino was also very good as well as nice and hot. The staff was okay, they weren't overly friendly but not rude. After we finished our breakfast we took home some cookies. My favorite were the pistachio fruit filled cookies. I would definitely come back. For a group of 4 we spent $60 plus $13 for 16 cookies.

Whoa, that Chicken Ravioli was divine. I have absolutely no idea what is in it, but I'm definitely always ordering that. The only drawback is that it was a little on the smaller side. Nevertheless, it was so worth it.
